Hello Garage had the opportunity to enhance the historic space by installing a durable, high-performance floor coating system designed to handle heavy foot traffic while maintaining a polished, professional look. The team also added custom shelving, slatwall organization, and a carefully curated display of fire service memorabilia that honors the building’s legacy.

For Hello Garage owner Chad Abel, the project carried personal meaning.
“As a firefighter, working inside a historic firehouse and helping bring it back to life in a new way meant a lot,” said Abel. “In the early ’90s, this firehouse was used as office space for the Westfield Fire Department. As a paramedic student, I spent countless late nights in that very room studying for tests. To come back years later and help transform that same space—it’s something I don’t take lightly.”
The result is a space that tells a story—one that connects the past to the present while creating a memorable experience for visitors today.
